This eight-acre neighborhood recreational facility has two multipurpose fields, two buildings, including a picnic pavilion with grills, restrooms, a concession/scoring building, and bike racks. There are two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court and a playground. The park has two parking areas with walkways connecting the site features. Oakhurst Park is home to Decatur Parks and Recreation’s youth sports baseball and girls softball, and Agnes Scott and DHS softball. Athletic field and indoor pool are located at Oakhurst Recreation Center (formerly the Boys and Girls Club). Oakhurst Dog Park is on East Lake Drive and parking is available at Oakhurst Recreation Center.

The large, prominent orange sculpture in Harmony Park in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur, Georgia, is officially named Dreamsicle. Frequently nicknamed the Cheeto by locals, this sculpture is a key feature at the corner of East Lake Drive and Oakview Road, serving as a landmark in Oakhurst Village.
